Blower Assembly - Toyota (88590-60030) deleted 2003 LC

Any reason why the blower assembly was deleted from the 2001 LC to the 2003?? My 2001 has it but the 2003 doesn't. Looking to do this mod but wanted to know if there was a specific reason for this delete.

Maybe Toyota wanted sell more LX470 and make more profit

Something to do with the 5 speed tranny maybe. Dunno if it ran cooler so less heat in the tranny cooler, additional fan not needed.
