Looks great. It's gonna get all scratched up though...

Not if they stay on the road;) ! I'd worry about the gas can on the oversized spare.

i wonder how it would have looked if you sprayed the roof a flat black color! Nice outfitting.

Already been done

Somebody already posted one that had a flat black roof, i thought it looked pretty good.

Oh, That looks pretty..... Now I'm gonna have to drive down and take a look at it.

That looks good! I saw a black cherry the other day... I like the white top better!

Very cool, but you forgot the rims? ;)

HOW About Rhino Lining the roof so when you slip with that Hi-lift its a little more durable?

I just came back for another look! its BAD -ASS!!!! Looks very cool!

ToyotaBoone,
Where did you source the jerry can holder?

4wheelparts.com has those Jerry can holders. They can be picked up at any reputable 4wd shop. Conn Ferr used to make them I'm not sure who is producing them now.

They used to be made by Conferr, but they were bought out by Blitz. The first place I ordered them from said they were discontinued. This is where I found some at:

You need all three parts, and then ther is a piece in the factory tire holder that you need to cut off so this will fit. I'm sure this FJ will never be off road, so there is no need for a gas can really, but we were going for looks.

Shovel, Hi-lift Jack, Jerry can mount, Rock rails, Arb Bumper & winch not sure what else but you say this will probably never be offroad. Isn't there some sort of law against that sort of thing, and if there isn't there should be...

The rhino lining is a good idea but adds a bit of weight. I e-mailed the guys at ape wraps and they are planning some graphics packages for the FJ and a roof wrap might be inthe works, I think Carbon Fiber pattern wouldnt be bad looking either

Hey man, they came to me and said get some cool stuff for an FJ. I could have put some 22's and some lowering springs on it, but then I think I'd have to shoot myself. They want a truck built I'm not gonna skimp just cause I don't think it's going off road ever. No spacer lift here, OME heavy kit and factory rock rails. They want a truck to look good, I'm gonna make it perform good too, even if they aren't going to use it:beer:

Oh, it's got a Warn M8000 winch on it too(it's fun to spend other peoples money)

I love it!! It looks great. Good work. As far as off roading why not. So what if the FJ gets scratched up. If you can afford the gear and the SUV why not a new paint job in a few years.

I have an all black and use it off road. I fear no scratch.
