@NearJetties How do those compare to NRS straps? I’ve become rather fond of NRS over the 2200 miles that they’ve been keeping my kayaks secured for the last month but I’m always willing to try something new based on a good recommendation and sale.
The Rollercam straps are much easier to cinch down tightly than NRS straps. They are very smooth to operate and from that perspective are a better design, but they use thinner, lower WLL, and softer and therefore less durable webbing, and they are overpriced compared to NRS straps IMHO. NRS straps also go on sale more frequently. Because the Rollercam straps are smoother to operate, it is easier to overtighten and possibly damage your load. I have not used a rollercam strap in the rain or on a river so I do not know how they perform when the webbing is soaked.

I choose to stick with NRS straps for now. I'll wait to see if they upgrade the webbing in version 2.0 and bring the cost more in line with the primary competition.

I did get some new Rollercam straps recently and the webbing seemed a bit thicker.
