It's a stab in the dark, but does anyone have a paper copy / original BJ74 owners manual that they have in storage or vault, if so I will be willing to be gofa on your behalf and track down
that elusive part within our cruiser parts space in OZ that you cannot find in your own backyard,in exchange for the manual.
As long as you do not request me to find a Bj74 owners manual?
Cheers

Your post doesn't make sense to me

There are 2 manuals(green cover)
1 The body and chassis manaul. This is applicable to all 7* series of the period,84-90.

2 The engine and engine electrical manual which is specific to the B engine. This can sometimes be downloaded free if you look around the net (blue cover)

That's the rare one. I'd pay for a CD copy if someone was willing to scan their copy, any language is OK, Aussie or Japanese. That's only fair if someone is willing to spend the time doing it.

That one is easily available on the net. I downloaded a PDF for the "Toyota B, 3B, 11B, 13B, 13B-T Engine Repair Manual"
Google that text string to find it.

I have already found the original blue cover manual, 3b, 13bt,etc but the green chassis manual I'm looking for,
I do have CD copies of blue and copy of chassis but don't think it's green manual version.
Rosco, are you implying the green chassis manual is a generic across all 70 series through out the those years, because if that's the case, I had one in my hands last week, but it had no reference to 13bt, so I gave it back, but it had the middy , and shorties diagrams all through it, Maybe I need to go for drive again and have another look, Maybe it was the FJ73 version, I think that's closer enough for general repairs on chassis??
Keep you posted.

Ok after some hunting, in have found an original green HD chassis & body, ranging from fj, bj, hj, models, excluding Bj74 specifically, but as previously mentioned the FJ & bj73 will cover the basics anyway!

Can you post a photo of the actual manual?
Thanks......

Here is an original chassis manual. There also was a reprint that was US sourced that is about twice as thick (same content, different stock).

manual.webp

I have one with a green and grey cover with USA/Canada and Pub No.36362E printed on the lower right hand corner. Copyright 1994. Was the BJ74 only sold in Japan ?

Dan, have you considered scanning it and selling CD copies?

No, I haven't. I also have a US reprint version. That one is hammered and all greasy.....

No. They did get into at least Australia.

Is there a section that show a "blue" 2H diesel? :)

It has black and white illustrations. I plan on coloring-in any H engine ones I run across. :grinpimp:
