Cool, thanks mate :)

Cut together this little vid of some recent activity:

Hi Cult,
Thats a sweet looking truck. Is it still for sale?
It will be in the coming months. I had to get some parts in from Dave Stedman at Japan 4x4 and am awaiting their arrival. Then a clean, detail, service and it will be for sale.

I'm Stateside and could be interested!

Sweet truck,
can you recommend the company that imported it for you I might be looking to import a 40 series or something soon.

Hey... I'm a long time fan of the bj series - and might be interested in buying yours. I used to own a 73 which was great other than the power stakes. Anyway, I live in Brisbane so email me if your putting it up for sale and I'll come and check it out

Wow, I get back here and there's interest! Sorry, I don't check this sucker unless I get a notification. I'd give up the name of the importer but he's a scum bag. I'm just getting the top painted [was flaky] but the panel beater hasn't even begun. I'll report back once it's done!

Been detailing in readiness for the sale. Will be live on all fronts probably end of next week. Want to make sure this things perfect for the next guy.

I fully restored a 1983 BJ40 and upgraded my engine to a 13BT and mated it with the H55f gearbox. The vehicle is now in the UK and I have only done 200 miles since its rebuild. I read your introduction piece and would echo your views. This little gem of an engine is magnificent. The constant power, no matter what the incline is beautiful.
I only have two issues, both probably not the engines fault. It is a tad too noisy at 110km/h and higher and the stiffness in my suspension setup (upgraded Bilstein shocks). In addition I told the workshop not to stick any sound and heat dampening material on to the floors as I wanted to leave the newly painted floor surfaces bare. I think this could be improved a little by adding some form of insulation, which may help with the engine noise. The thing that annoys me is that, at 80km/h, the engine noise is so sweet. Just that little extra speed ruins the whole experience. I wish there was a way of getting that little extra speed and reduced noise, even if that meant a loss in a little top end power.
