Wanted BJ74 Heater A/C Vent controls

I'm looking for HVAC controls for my BJ74. It's got the common breaking where the cables attach.

I believe the original is out of production. There is a replacement: 55910-60220, but the cable end for the air damper cable is different on newer models vs the older models. I'm not sure if they're going to work, I tried to install it but quickly realized it won't be a direct swap without replacing or modifying the original cables.

Hmm, it might be worth it to try and modify the newer one just because of brittle plastic. Thanks for that part number I may try and pick one of those up. Looks like quite the pain to get those HVAC controls out. It's under $50 from partsouq.

It's actually not too bad except for getting the cables to unhook. It helps if you pop your radio out.

The newer style damper cable is also cheap, less than $20 I think. Unfortunately that appears, at first glance, to be quite a chore to get to.
