got a 78 bj40 (24v system) with a battery draw coming from the 12v wire off the drivers side neg terminal. if i unplug the headlight relay module its still showing a draw. only thing thats cutting off the draw is if i unplug the passenger headlight. but i cant figure it out from there, anyone ever had this issue before or have an idea of whats going on? it drains both batteries in just a few days.
any help would be appreciated

Man that's two local electric issues when it rains it pours. Did you swap headlights? Seems I heard that the 24 volt system had something funky from one side to another somehow somewhere. But I'm not versed with the 24 stuff much. I will say most issues I've had with electrical has been a ground problem.

yes i did swap them, found no difference. and yeah ive heard alot about the dimmer module causing draws but it still has one with the module unplugged.

On the Cdn spec evil center tap headlight system the right side headlight is the one which should show 12V to the neutral pin and 12V to the lowbeam pin with the headlights off. Check out this thread and using a voltmeter check all the headlight harness connectors and record what the voltage is: 78 BJ 40 Headlight Diagram .

Check them with the headlight relay module (do you mean dimmer relay) plugged and unpluged.

And also check the headlight harness connector pins with the dimmer module connected, but the 12V center tap off the negative pole disconnected.
