I became a member of the 200 club this week, which forces the sale of my daily-driven 2005.
The truck lived in Oregon from birth to 2018, when I brought it to Alabama. Rather than say "rust-free," or "no rust," I will say "I don't see any rust anywhere, but come on and see for yourself." It's a clean truck. Clean carfax. The place I bought it from coated everything in Armor All, which hasn't totally left, but otherwise smell-free. Cosmetically I would give it an 8. There are some minor scratches and swirls, very small dings that could be easily fixed, some minor wear stains here and there on the carpet. I have Lexol'd the seats quarterly.
All service since I got it has been done at Serra Toyota in Birmingham, to include timing belt, water pump, and new OEM front axles/CVs at 118K. I am not a mechanic, but I have been meticulous with it for the past 18 months.
Other things:
- New key - has two now.
- LT275/70R-18 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3 E - four new ones at 123K
- Running boards are in my shed and go with it.
- Navigation. Everything works. I had an aux connection tastefully installed down by the 12V plug.
- New Autozone Duralast Gold 01/13/2020
- I did the HIR 9011/9012 bulb swap.
- Removed the woodgrain interior accents.
- I have not taken it off pavement. It does not appear to have been off pavement.
The day it got new tires.
Monday 2/24.
If you want a clean, mechanically sound, lower mileage 100 to dd or start a build this is worth seeing. Taking a decent beating on it based on what I paid 18 months ago and all the work I've done, so I am firm at $16,500.
Sorry I don't have more pictures today. Just imagine a very clean gray interior and a typical undercarriage and engine compartment until I can post this weekend. If you want to see anything specific let me know.
