I have a new to me ‘08 with 118k. Noticed that when I turn in either direction with the wheel almost at lock, I get what I describe as a binding or resistance sensation in the steering wheel - Similar to what a 4wd feels like, but not jumpy. Is this normal on the GX? I jacked it up and everything feels tight. I did notice the boots look cracked on both CVs. I am getting a vibration at 60+ in the steering wheel as well, but not sure if it’s related or just tires needing balanced since it’s speed related. No other symptoms, no clicks or anything obvious. Only a few hours and $200 for OEM rebuilds so I don’t mind replacing them if that’s what it is.
