I am curious if anyone has run the 6112's with the heavier +150-200 lb springs from the 4Runner on their GX? I would think those springs would probably be about right for the stock weight. I would run 5160's in the rear with one of the Dobinson's springs.

I am stuck between the Bilsteins or just going with a Dobinsons IMS setup. I think either set up will come in within $100-200 of each other.

BTW, I am only looking for 2-2.5" of lift, and I want to maintain the stock rake because I do tow heavy.

Sorry to resurrect this old post but it's a shame no one was able to chime in on this. I'd LOVE to know more info about this as well as I was looking at 6112/5160 setup.

I am running 6112 with heavy springs on my GX. I have full skids/sliders so there is some extra weight. They ride great. Mine is a luxury so I left the rear stock with washers for now. Here is a post/thread where I talked about them.

I have had the 6112 on 2, 1st Gen Tundras and a 5th Gen 4runner - always an improvement -always ride great.

Look at OME also.
