I've been checking prices and not that I'm recommending O'Reilly's or know how fast they can grab this setup, but my local store (Littleton, CO) for the full Bilstein setup (6112/5160/B12) is $1,463 before tax. I'm waiting to hear from AJUSA on their current prices. The current price at 4wheelparts.com is $1,576 before tax.

I'm checking prices today/tomorrow and planning to put the full Bilstein setup on my '08.

The AJUSA website does show the price and that they're in stock. $1,360 for everything as a kit, including rear springs. $1,250 without rear springs.

With rear springs:

Without rear springs:

Those are actually the same prices as when I ordered mine back in December. It was free shipping and no tax when I ordered (I assume no tax because it was an out-of-state order). It took a something like 2 - 3 weeks before everything arrived at my house. Each set of components within the kit shipped from different places.

Thank you Ferris. I called them a few mins ago and indeed they have the best price around. I was told they order in batches that allows them to get a good price point from Bilstein. Plus, they are only about 20 miles away from Bilstein so my hunch is they pay very little for shipping. They are putting in another order now and they expect to have them mid to late May. Other places charge more AND tax on top. 4wheelparts.com has this setup for $1,690 including tax.

No need to verify all the part numbers with AJUSA. They know what they are doing.

As you said, $1,360. Free shipping, no tax.

I swear there was a recent comment about the Bilstein heavy springs and a spring rate of 400 lb/in, but I must be blind or it was deleted...

Does anyone know if the heavy springs will require different rear shocks? Not sure if the extra spring rate requires additional damping. I have the OME 2720 which is around 370 lb/in (same rate as the 2721) with the Bilstein shocks and it seems to ride well without much extra weight. Not sure of the shock performance with the truck loaded.

Yes, that was me. I'm going to start a post in the main forum with all the info. I had to verify something with Bilstein before I posted it. Give me 15 mins.

Perfect. I've been wondering about this.

A few mins ago I ordered the full Bilstein suspension from AJUSA! I'm very glad my hunt for a new suspension system is over! Maybe I'll accomplish something today in the office.
But.. You just did! I’m not too far behind. Waiting because suspension will involve tires, winch and installing my Rhino evo bumper which I have squirreled away. Want to do it all at once.

ha! Yes, do it all at once like I will do. I think it's easier this way to stay focused and on top of things.

FYI - Bilstein has their new rear heavy spring coming soon. Maybe it's an option for you.

Can't remember who it was on this thread, but he recommended to do the rear first and measure the new height before doing the front. This can help determine what perch to use on the front struts.

@maluch did you happen to finish your lift? If so, any pics?
I just got my Bilstein setup installed as I noted a few weeks ago. (Stock 2013, Front Bilstein/SPC UCA, Rear Bilstein Shocks/OME 2721 Coils). I only rode it on the freeway so far and the car behaves great, much more control and not too harsh. I am at ~22" in the front and ~22.25" in rear (full tank and rear seats installed). I pretty much wanted a leveled look and went to 5th perch. Before the install I was at ~19.25 front and ~20.5" rear. I was thinking I should have gained more in the rear but it turned out even better. I will do some off-roading next week (MOAB) so things will settle and I will report how things behaved off-road. Sorry for the crappy pics....

For those who are curious how this setup handles a front bumper, I installed an ARB Summit bumper on my truck. No winch at this point. I was expecting the front to drop, but so far I've only seen a slight drop in the left front of about .15" from the settled height (the front dropped .25" after the suspension settled). Here are before and after pics. The "before" pic was taken before the suspension settled.

That's good to hear. What perch level are you set up on and how does it ride after the bumper install? I have the ARB with a single hoop and a winch.

Fronts are set at 4th Perch. I'm debating whether to pull the front strut assembly and move them to the 5th perch. It obviously has rake at the current setup, but I'm sure it will level out with a load in the rear. I'm hesitant because I certainly don't want reverse rake under load.

Would you mind grabbing a hub to front fender Measurement? What rear springs are you running?

Looks great

Looks perfect, I prefer the factory rake. You sir are trying to make me spend more money. Love the way your ride is coming along keep up updated.

LF: 21.6
RF: 22.0
Springs are the Bilstein 6112s.
Thank you. That's about where I am up front with the OME heavy set up. I think if I went to the 5th perch on the billy set up it'd be just right.
How's the ride feel? Are you able to compress the springs easily or is it firm?

It's definitely more firm than stock, but I wouldn't say it was harsh.

Interesting that your OME heavy springs give you the same height with a winch and bull bar. I would have thought you would be higher on that setup. Is the cable on your winch steel or dynema?

There's another thread in this forum by @RT Cruiser about Bilstein's plan to release heavier springs. The rears should be out soon, but no date on the fronts.

I'm curious to see how the suspension will handle the addition of a winch. I had my 100# son stand on the bumper yesterday and I didn't see much dip at all. I have the winch in a box (can't install it yet due to broken power lug--long story) so I might just set it on the bumper and take some measurements.

I do seem to notice a bit more nose dive after the bumper was installed. Still not as much as when I had the stock setup.

I just installed the rear icon progressive springs. I cannot comment on how they are compared to the bilsteins....yet.

No change in ride height, and included spacer was not needed
