Hey everybody, thanks for taking the time to read this. New, to the LC community.

I have an 89 FJ62 with badly worn suspension. I’m replacing it with the caveat that I’m having the stock springs rebuilt here locally and I’m going to have them recurve them to 1inch over stock.

My question is does anybody know the part number or have any experience running the Bilstein 5100 series shocks on a similar setup?

I ran 5100 on all my prior Toyota (Tacoma, tundra, 4 runner) and I’ve had great luck with them.

Everyone on here is so quick to tell you " you posted in the wrong section" I would have posted this question to the vendors as well. I want to buy something and I'm looking for professional advice. Here it is! The shop I work for is a Bilstein dealer we DO NOT install their products on any 6xs because they ride like crap. OME 100% everything from the u bolts to the shocks. Sadly Most of it is on back order. I would call Kurt at cruiser outfitters. tell him what you have going on bumpers , tent., rear box etc etc Let him pick out a shock/spring / lift package or whatever you need.. Bilstein on 4xs all day long .. never on a 6x.
