How much extra weight are you expecting to have on the rear axle? Static or dynamic?
I don't plan on adding a rear bumper anytime soon if that what your asking. Just kids at this point.

2721's would work well then....assuming no drawers if you've got kids as you may need the 3rd row.

Icon has their yearly 20% off right now. Good way to save some serious money.

Just don’t buy their billet control arms. They are an absolute waste of money. Buy a Total Chaos or SPC upper control arm for the front instead. And also, there is no reason to buy rear lower control arms for your setup.
Hey, they look really cool, so that's worth something!

haha, yeah know, you're right.

Seriously, if someones intent was they wanted the coolest looking truck, then yeah, rock it dude, and I'll never mock it, and support that person. Freedom! But someone says, "well they work better offroad" NOPE, not how that works.

I had those expensive billet control arms on the rear lower and upper control arms on my last truck, they looked great. Wish I had that money for more fuel and time off work to go use it. That and I went though bushings every 30,000 miles. then they looked like crap after the winter road salts hit them every year. Took so much longer to clean them up that the Total Chaos long travel arms that were powder coated on the front end.

If they claim they're stronger, that's fine. But I never came close to hitting the actual LCA bar itself. Now the mount... that took a serious thrashing.
they are definitely not anywhere close to the strength of a .187 DOM tube you see on a SPC, but they are still quite stout. I do have big chunks taken out of my rear lowers from rock impacts, where metal just scratches in, and needs some spray paint when you get off the trail.

The Icon LCA's have a nice, replaceable, strip of teflon or HDPE like material so when you do drag them that takes the abuse and not the metal.
pretty smart move on Icons part

Yeah maybe a few scratches on the bar.

It's a weird design to have those mounts hanging down. But I guess toyota didn't intend on a copper haired lunatic flooring it to climb over 4 foot shelves.

Thanks for all the great information guys! You have really helped me out. I just ordered a ICON kit and now need UCAs and rear springs. Where is the best place to buy SPC upper control arms and OME-2721s at?

I order SPC items from Jegs. They are usually $20 cheaper than anywhere else and offer free shipping.

I got mine from low range offroad. At the time they had a discount code floating around which got me an extra 5 or 10% off.

If I was going to spend $577, which is what they seem to go for everywhere else, I'd buy from one of the vendors on the forum

BTW I broke the grease zerk in half on my SPC immediately. Had to jam a flat head screwdriver into it to work it loose afterwards. You might want to pick up a 2 pack of grease zerks and replace the stock ones from SPC, or at least be prepared to replace them.

I got mine from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters! Best service in the business....and a forum sponsor

Thanks for the kind words!

To the OP, we would love to help and know the 200's extensively. Drive em, Overland in them and race em. I love the 200. We are a premium dealer for OME, SPC and Icon. Let us know!
