Has anyone built a bigger expedition trailer? I have three kids and two dogs I'm looking to stuff in one. Maybe some bunk beds for the little ones. Just looking for design inspiration.

Expedition as in, carries extra gear and a tent on top - or (you said "in it") a variation on the Teardrop (like Skersfan's) a small, hard-side trailer that can sleep 2 or maybe 3 - or a "Standie", as in you can stand up inside it, with maybe a combination of soft-sides/hard-sides?

the teardrop website has the largest variation in trailer size, from the "Standie" down to motorcycle suitable teardrop trailers that barely fit one person.

M101A2 build one with the canvas top and stack bunk beds.
Place yoyr camp kitchen food and water below the beds and
you are set.
Here is my start.

He's building a new one, and I just posted up all the pictures to date - https://forum.ih8mud.com/trailer-tech/599123-skersfans-build-old-sarge-may-2012-a.html

I know he's made some agreements to offer OzTents with his trailers for additional family sleeping space, along with their Foxwing awnings to mount on the trailer.

Besides that I gotta say I have a soft spot for the U.S. M101 surplus trailers, and Mark's is one of the sweetest.

I built one that has a roof top tent on top and sleeps two down below. The build is in sigline

Mine will include a oztent that sleeps 3-4 and a foxwing awning. Set up for serious off road trails. It will be called the Wolf Creek Pack.
