Posting this because I thought it looked like fun. Haven't ever been but I've heard its a blast. I'm not sure if it will work out with my schedule yet.(day before my wife's birthday) but it might be worth checking out for people who want to play in the snow. Its on the on the Wild Bill trail outside of Whitefish, MT.
Per their Facebook:
Friday night January 12th pre-registration and social at the Redio Lion Hotel Fireside Room from 7 to 10pm.
Registration and vehicle tech at Fattboys January 13th from 7 to 9 am
Banquet Dinner and raffle at the Red Lion Hotel starting at 6pm. Dinner will be at 6:30pm. $30 event fee
Red Lion has set asde a block of rooms with a special $84/night rate. You must tell them that you are a part of the Big Sky 4 Wheelers group.
4 Trail runs this year:
Snow Kings: 37 inch or larger tires, locked front and rear, winch, tow hooks and recovery gear.
Powder Hounds: 33 inch or larger tires, locker and a winch are recommended.
Scenic Overlook: Basic stock or modified vehicles should have recovery gear.
Side by Side: should have good tires or tracks. Trail runs to be decided by the number of participants and capabilities of machines.
