...sounds fun! '80's friendly?

How long does your "day" last?

I'd like to make it, but I've got a late afternoon 'thing' I have to plan around.

Hey, look forward to seeing you guys. Will you be meeting us at the Cafe or at the Discovery Center?

We normally go all day, maybe to about 5pm or so. But you could break off at anytime. As for trails... last time we had a mixture of 40s, 60s & 80s. If I remember right, either a stock 60 or 80 made it over John Bull without too much trouble. The rest of us just went around and meet them at the John bull exit.

I will be taking my sixty, it has a mild lift on MT 33s and no lockers.

My family and I are most likely going to join this one. I've been lurking a long time and finally have a Saturday off. This sounds like fun, we're going to try and make breakfast.

The run is ten minutes from your house!!! :steer: (well, you are just down the mountain!)

Pack up the family; it will be fun!

I think I'm going to make it, but don't know if I'll make breakfast. I'll for sure meet at the Disco ctr.

Are you setting any radio channel, CB or Ham?

Dan.

I think Im in, I have a Cruiser guest from the Midwest who might drive the 80..........

Jerry- I spaced out did not get a chance to call Kirk this week- too much going on and I am heading out of Cali this weekend. Any chance you could remind him to bring that wandering 55 spring. I can pick it up from either Noah or Rob (Calstyl2) - that is if he goes :D.

Thanks again

Jim,

Kirk will not be going on the Big Bear run because of a family emergency.

I will try to get hold of the spring and bring it up if possible. No guarantee, but, I'll let Noah or Rob know when I see them in Big Bear.

We had a great Big Bear Run! Over 18 vehicles, including a 70 Series. The majority of the Cruisers went up Gold Mountain trail, while some of the wagons traveled up Jacaby Canyon. We had lunch at the Baldwin Lake overlook.

After lunch we took the White Mountain trail and viewed a lot of devastation from the last forest fire. Very eerie in places.

Chris in the green 40 found out what a thrill it is to drive very fast through a mud puddle ... with his windshield DOWN!! Whoops!!

Thanks for the great response to the run!

We had a great time. My 3 year old kept saying, "Let's go off-roading tomorrow." Thanks to those who helped me get our RTT home.
