BFG ATs for Central and South America?

I myself will be undertaking the same trip in 2-3 years. Going in a 100 series and looking at Toyo M-55 or Open Country M/T in 255/85R16. I have read up on Expo Portal and a couple other forums and it seems the Toyos are better than the BFGs.
