Hi i'm new on ih8mud and need to change tyres i dont have lift and want to know if 295 goes in room while off road conditions
or must take 285

They probably wont rub significantly, BFG's run on the small side. This is where my Nitto 295's touched on the stock rig, with stock rims, just enough to leave a mark.

My BFG ATs rub a little on the inside also. But I only see it on the inside fender well just like above. The OME 2.5 lift really only gives you stiffer springs. OME shocks are real close to the same length as stock Toyota so a small lift doesn't get you more travel like the bigger ones. You'll be fine.

I would get the 285's... less chance of rubbing if wheelin hard...And better when going up the grades.

285's are ok with stock gears, any taller and you start to loose your low end crawl and mileage.

I run BFG 295's and rub with an OME heavy/medium lift. I had the 295's on with the stock springs, but was too afraid to wheel/flex it (for fear of losing a flare or some crap). I really don't think it would be a problem.

Rubbing doesn't bother me. It's at crawl speed when it happens.

Here is what mine looked like with stock springs and 295's.

I can't believe my rig used to look so clean . . .

This is a 295/75 R16 on stock rims with OME 75mm HD. Does not rub when flexed.
