My 08 TLC only came with one key fob, I'd like to get more, what's my best option? Google a local shop? Some place online? Toyota dealer? Any way to DIY it? Thanks!

You can program w techstream if you have it. If you ever make it over to Spokane I can program it for you.

Replacemyremote.com is where someone on here recommended getting some. I ordered mine from there and had a local locksmith program them for me.
Just getting to this....these guys only have an emergency key. I guess it's better than nothing, but I feel like I should really have an actual fob. Might be time to invest in a security system with remote bypass.

I used these guys on eBay link for my Lexus keyfob. Programmed fine with Techstream. If you don't have Techstream setup, you will need to use a locksmith/dealer who does. There are also vendors on eBay who will cut a blank for you after you send them a picture of the keyblade you have. Not sure what the safety of this is, but i did it with my previous Lexus and the blank worked fine, and my vehicle never disappeared.

They were great to deal with. I even ordered the wrong keyfob and they exchanged it for me. Also, I had a keyfob from another Lexus that I found after I sold, and they gave me credit (not much, but I sent to them anyways, because I felt bad about ordering the wrong key) towards the keyfob I ordered from them for that keyfob.

Man, this is crazy. The "cheapest" one I can find is via that eBay seller and it's $200 USED and still needs to be programmed!! For that price, I can get a whole security + remote start system with a pair of 2-way key fobs....for a little more I can get a full on fancy remote start/security system with a pair of LED key fobs, 2-way comm, 1 mile range, remote temp readings, etc. I think I'll be skipping the factory extortion racket :D The factory key fob looks/feels cheesy as hell anyway. Compustar has some amazing stuff!

That is weird, my 2010 Lexus fob was only $100. It’s not possible for anyone to “pre-program” an OEM fob.

I'm in need of one as well - where did you pick one up for $100 @lx200inAR

From link listed above, but it looks like their prices have jumped dramatically. Weird.

They found out Land Cruiser prices were sky rocketting and did the same!!!
