I finally went out and got some new seats to put in my FJ 40. They're Heep replacement seats. I got some Suburban tracks from a salvage yard, and with just a little modification they should work out fine. Whats the best paint to use on the tracks? My truck's pretty close to stock so I want to paint the tracks a gloss black like the originals, the jump seat frames, and the roll bar. I don't want to make it too complicated, just a spray can job, as I don't have access to a spray rig. Does the paint on the tracks need to be removed, or should I just rough up the surface with a wire brush or sandpaper?

Duplicoat Bedliner spray. Rattle can black. Its easy to apply, no drips and has a nice black satin finish. Won't scratch very easily either.
