Phone, ham radio, drink......

I use a super siphon to move gas from the cans to the tank, but the smell of gas in the cab when I bring the hose in is annoying. So, I came up with a way to store it outside yet keep it clean, along with some other stuff I have occasion to use at the back of the truck. I had the can, cost was $22 for aluminum angle, about $6 for hose clamps, had the "anti-rattle hose" on the handle (hose through the handle loops, not shown in pics). My original plan was to use the can rack bolts to mount the ammo can but they were too wide, so I used the angle to get below the bolts and hose clamps over the top of the angle to hold secure the ammo can. Oh, there was a can of satin XO rust paint, don't recall what it cost.

Down side is I have to get a new "Got Haggis" sticker.

You and I both. That's less than 1/8 of the $8 sheet so I don't mind if I get 6-12 months out of it. It's the stuff they use on staircases in public spaces though so I'm hoping it'll hold up alright.
Nice, should do ok with a bit of luck. Really like ur truck mate. Id love cois up front in mine but the dollars stop me. Do you know how much the whole shebang cost you for the front end leaves to coils drive away?

I think I'm in it for about $4500. Could do it a fair bit cheaper if you went with Pro Fender shocks, rubber bumpstops and found arms for cheaper as well. I had a bit of spare cash at the time and went stupid for some reason.

Had trouble finding rubbers for the stock pedals so pulled mine out, stripped and repainted them then did a vinyl anti-slip tape cover on them.

All up I'm in them for a sheet of sand paper, a can of gloss black rustoleum paint and an $8 strip of anti-slip tape

I've seen a couple of guys welded a couple of horizontal bead zig-zag lines on their pedals. I think the anti-slip tape looks better.

I just finished installing my cloaking device off amazon for $24.99. Best bang for your buck IMHO. The kit includes 4 cloaking units, the control panel, and wiring to the battery and switch. I decided to use one of the empty switch panels to install the button on. It has held up really well. here it is in action.

Here are the cloaking units. The kit includes 4 units, one for each corner.

It's really cool how the unit also eliminates the shadow of the 62 as well as the 62.

On your light at the rear view mirror, what did you use as a spacer or mount?
I have no idea what it was originally. It may have been stop for a cabinet door possibly. I found it in a drawer in my dads workshop and thought it would be perfect. Sorry I dont have more info. It turned out looking quite clean. I wish I had more of them. It almost looks like a lego piece.

A close alternative might be a "leggo slope brick". Just sand the nubs down and there you have it. that might be the closest thing I can think of.

This weekend I got sick of digging for tools in my toolbox on the trail so I invested in some tool rolls Custom LeatherCraft 1173 32-Pocket Socket Tool Roll Pouch - - Amazon.com I purchased two rolls from Amazon and that is enough to bring along one of every important tool.

While researching tool rolls I dropped by Home Depot and found the Bucket Jockey for $6. The material quality is nice and for $6 I decided it was worth the risk for the potential awesomeness I saw in it.

Here it is in it's hacked form, I separated the 2 panels and cut them in half to create 4 panels. 2 like this and 2 less flashy (from the inside of the bucket). I did sew the top down, though you could just fold it over and hit the cut edge with flame to seal it from fraying.

Btw this mounted to my rear inside quarter panels.

I like it. I'd be careful putting anything with any weight to it in them though. In a rollover whatever is in those is gonna be a projectile. Maybe add a flap to secure whats it them?

Spade clips work pretty well.

But how did you connect the leads ( + / - ) to the actual LED strip?

The strips have two tiny copper dots that you have to be a goddam surgeon to solder up.

I used these LED strip connectors off of Amazon - about $4 for a bag of them.
