I live in Central America.
There's a lot of surface here that I don't want to put in my mouth.

But I'd be even more worried if I were at a sporting event or school (kids are messy, let's be honest) or visiting a hospital, or walking around a garage or parking structure or mechanic's shop.

I'm not usually much of a sissy about "dirty" food. But deliberately rubbing the bottom of my shoe onto a wet, soon to be in my mouth area... is adding unnecessary risk to my life.

i have the pair with an opener on one and a flask inside the other.

if i am forced to use the opener for lack of anything else handy, i just wipe the top of the beer off.

how big of a sissy do you have to be to think " ewww gross, dirt on my beer" ? also, where do you guys go walking where there is dog crap that prevalent?

x2, why take the chance, who knows what you are stepping on at any given point, and the bottom of anybodies shoe is probably the dirtiest thing that I can think of. I personally use my wedding ring to open beers. Always on me as well.

I usually use a house key... But I like that Land Cruiser key-chain bottle opener. Maybe it's time to replace my little plastic pig...
