For the last year I have looked high and low for good window shades for all 5 rear windows.

I made my own (they sucked), I looked everywhere and could not find a set that fit my needs.

Finally I came across these on E-bay, they took 2 months to get here from China but they are perfect.

They even came with little clips AND they are magnetized

I will use some 3M double sided tape to attached some reflectix and they will be perfect.

Its dark out so these are the best pics I could take.

are these breathable? It looks so in the eBay add, that they are a mesh material. How dark do they leave the inside of the truck for sleeping?
The first and second pictures I have attached reflectix to them with 3M tape. So they completely block out light.

In the third pic I have not so you can kind of see that they are a mesh material.

Without the reflectix it's pretty dark, with it, it's completely dark.

I've seen these the biggest problem here is they use suction cups, which is a problem on the rear window because they can't get a seal due to the defrost wires on the window.

Also a lot of light gets in around the edges of you watch reviews on YouTube.

Then they cost almost $400 shipped, so 4x what I paid for these.

I have the Heatshields and really love them. The rear window shade has a tendency to slip off but I added a few more suction cups and that seem to help.

@TreatSmash how do these adhere to the window frames, are the magnets strong enough or there is mention of clips - how are those used? I'm just looking for something to keep sun out of my kids eyes, and not get some generic square/round ones off amazon.

The magnets are more than strong enough. I use them for the 2nd row windows.

For the 3rd row windows I just open them, insert the shade and then close them. They are held in place.

The back window has always been the most difficult. Right now I have a few little plastic tabs I attached with 3M tape but it's only about 80% effective. What I'm about to do any day now is just some small screws to attach the tabs.

But as far as form fitting custom to 100 series and quantity these are the best I have seen.

Just to give other options for others , the heat shields are as tight as possible to the window edge and block out all light without any extra mods needed.... they don't look as slick I suppose since suction cups are used for securing but they work great and can just be rolled up and stored when not in use.

Back window is the easiest of all because it just slips into the cracks of the plastic trim and doesn't budge

Customer service is also awesome and they sent me a free set in the rear after my dog chewed a shade. Oh and did I mention made in US?

Heat Shield cost 3x what these cost and I still don't like them as much.

With these I can roll the windows down to get a breeze at night and the shades double as a mosquito net.

Also stuffing the edges in the trim in the back window is a pita.

And they just look better.

Whatever works for you , that sounds like a good setup.

Looks like I paid $139 for a full set of heat shields , all glass but the windshield.

Pressing the heat shield into the trim takes about 3.5 seconds but isn't necessary, the suction cups work fine but will admit maybe not as slick looking as other options

Do you have the defroster heat element lines on your back windshield?

I do and could not get any suction cups to stick because the lines prevented a flush grip.

How effective is the sunshade prevent heat gain in the cabin?

One advantage of the sunshade is it hides like tint, not easy to notice. Can't say the same with heat shield. Personally I would leave it on all the time on 2nd, third and lift gate.

I leave mine on all the time except the rear window.

Honestly I couldn't tell you how effective it is. I sleep in my cabin nightly as I live in my LC and it's warm here in Florida but manageable by using a fan, the screens help in that aspect.

I guess if heat deflection were your primary goal the heat shield may be better.

Mileage will vary ya know.
