Benchtest a Winch

[FJ40 MNTCRZR]

I know there is a way to bench test a winch with jumper cables, can someone please explain how this is done. ? F1 F2 and A, this is for a Warn ....


I want to bench test one before install, anyone with instructions ?

warn probably has the manual on line. just check out the wiring diagram. Connect battery cables to +and - (maybe 2 distinct +es for armature and excitation?)
