I've been trying to replace the belt moldings on my 99 LC100 for several months now. For those of you who don't know, there are the trim pieces that run along the edge of the window on the doors against the window. The black coating cracks and chips off and looks terrible.
However, replacing them is supposed to be relatively easy, and it really sharpens up the look.

They are easy to find on ebay, as there are several vendors selling them. I have now ordered 3 complete sets of belt molding, and every one of them has been incorrect. Not just incorrect, but incorrect in exactly the same way. All too long with cutouts and features that don't align with the 99 landcruiser.
It appears that they all use the same chinese manufacturer, and that manufacturer put out a lot with the wrong specs.

Anyone know of a vendor or source that has the correct ones? Perhaps an ebay vendor that you received correct ones from in the last few months?

Are you buying OEM or aftermarket parts? I know you said Chinese which leads me to believe aftermarket but this day and age who knows where Toyota has some of these parts made.

I think they’re still available from Toyota.
I got a set a few years ago for my 99.
They fit right and DO look better.
I figured I couldn’t go wrong with OEM, as the original sets lasted 20+ years before the sun killed the black coating.

The flip side is - solved for $45 bucks for all four, and look fine/do the job.
At least with mine...good fitment and look good.
