My belt just broke on my 100 I'm 300 miles away from the house in Orlando I fixed the fan clutch before can't remember what tools I will need and the diagram for the pulleys can anyone give me a hand??

A serpentine belt routing diagram is located on the bottom side of the hood, passenger side

The belt diagram sticker should be on the left side on the hood pad towards the front. That is where it is on my 1998.

You will need a braker bar and socket, forgot what size though. Just replaced mine last week, it was about to brake here soon.

That thread looks like it is for changing the tensioner. OP just wants to put in a new belt.

Removing the front skid plate will make it easier to route the belt but not necessary. Depends if you have T-Rex arms or not.

From the thread Jon linked...

The tensioner:

Try routing the belt without removing the skid plate first.

Is that pulley suppose to spin or stay tight?

It seems that my bearing in the pulley froze up

Pulley itself spins. If not, then you can guess why your belt broke. Twisting the bolt in the center of the pulley counter-clockwise (I think) will move the pulley downwards (less tension on belt).

Yay it happened to someone else other than me! Bummer though. Autozone should have the pulley you need to get you going. Gonna need to know 3.5" diameter or 4". The one I had to buy in a pinch didn't let the oem washer fit on properly so I used a washer off my Slee jac-kof tool.

Yeah it sucks the pulley I got from autozone is to thick so the washer presses to tight.toyota says you can buy just the pulley with the bearing, but that's if I can find one in a 20 mile radius of Orlando... what washer did you use and did it work? Thanks for the reply

I used a washer off my Slee jac-kof tool but that was because I was in Lake City, CO and didn't have the amenities of a real city and a place like walmart/lowes/homedepot to go pickup a washer that fit. At this point why not just wait till the morning and grab the correct pulley at toyota?

Well it's all good now! Everything worked out but not after running around like a chicken with his head cut off!.. heres what I learned (1) napa has the right pulley without going to Toyota $40 at napa and only use Toyota belts save yourself the trouble...... Thanks to everyone for the help
