I know a lot of you probably have worn and torn seats, and have probably considered reupholstering them. So, I thought I'd share my experience!

I only had the bottoms reupholstered on the front seats, as the backs weren't bad (just a little dirty). Just got it back today, and I'm really impressed with the results. Took less than a week, and cost $200 per seat. If you're in Las Vegas, I highly recommend West Charleston Auto Upholstery, they did a fantastic job.

Here's a before and after of the driver seat (I forgot to take a before of the passenger seat):

Those look amazing! Time to drive cross-country to Vegas... it’s been too long since my last visit anyway! :-)

No, really, I need an excuse to visit Las Vegas again!

When I lived out in SD, my wife and I would drive up once a year. They have the best Star Trek conventions there, plus Vegas is awesome.

Seriously, your seat bottoms look great. I’d seriously consider doing the backs too, because now they kind of stand out compared to the bottoms. :)

Haha, I'm sure there are good shops wherever you are!

I think he reinstalled the seat controls upside down ;)

Oh crap, you are right! Look at the before and after pics. The nub should be on the bottom.

Also I spend way too much time browsing this forum.

It can definitely have it's fun times, but living here has had its ups and downs!

I might do the backs in the future, but I'm going to see how they do with cleaning and conditioning. They looked nice to me until I saw them with the new upholstery on the bottom!

Good catch! I didn't notice that. But they operate properly, so I assume the levers are in the right place, and it's just the knob thingy that's upside down. I'm gonna take a closer look and see if it's easy to flip, because that will drive me nuts now that I know about it! haha
