yes, that's Gordon, the guy I keep mentioning about the exhaust jack and roof top tents. He's got all kinds of stuff.

By the way, the bumpers and sliders are more for light wheelers that want the look. I already talked to him about that, they are thinner metal, no real reinforcements, the side wings for the 80 series have one thin attachment at the front (one rock or good tree and they are bent) and the swivel mechanism on the hinge is a ball bearing style but lacks seals so the bearings are subject to the weather all the time. They look pretty but are only for light wheelers or show (which explains the price). The tents are good, the awenings, as soon as he gets them in I am grabbing one, are nice, the exhaust jack I have not tested myself but the price is good. He also has the European style military jerry cans (good luck finding those). He is also bringing in more neat stuff that's not even on there right now.

I'll be taking a look at his awnings when they arrive to see if I can figure out how to mount it to my trailer and give me a little shelter when cooking.

That is a very good price on the awnings. Down under, those things go for over $500 if they are the retractable ones with side supports.

They are not like the Foxwing or ARB, they roll up by hand, have posts to secure them out and posts to secure them up. The posts are like those long squeegee handles that extend out to whatever you need. Comes with spikes to drive it into the ground and a zip up cover. Still a good price though.

Might be best to make your own with a PA canvas tarp. Tent poles are cheap to be had at second hand stores. These Iron man awnings are sweet:

But you can build a decent DIY, like below. But I would probably make it smaller and build in side supports like the ironman - maybe with just shock corded poles.

For that price it sounds great even if the mounts arent that solid. fabbing new brackets wouldnt be to bad...
We should put in an order for 3, maybe if more are interested we could save a few more bucks or even shipping?

I wonder if an old awning off a 5th wheel would work... I'm eying up the one on my grandparents discarded 5th wheel thinking I might have to experiment. The auto rolling feature is kind of nice... and its in a convenient package.

Do up a couple of different style legs as the cruiser isn't as high up as the 5th wheel roof and it might just work!

The awnings are fine and the brackes aren't cheap. This one is very similar to the Ironman but you have to roll it up yourself. As for making your own, at that price, it's not worth it, just buy one, if over time it breaks then you can add to it or change it.

Agreed, at that price better to just purchase and not go through the hassle of making your own. Especially when you consider how little use it will actually get

I bet that 5th wheel awning is nice and large and the auto feature would be the cats meow. I think you would need to figure out brackets or gutter mounts and the arms as you know would need to be adjusted unless you have one super lifted rig with a roof rack!

I don't know what type of retailer you are but you have a pirated picture from the Adventure Trailer's website of my Horizon outfitted with an Eezi-Awn RTT, which is a brand you don't carry. Also, there is another picture of Mario's old trailer, also stolen from AT's website, outfitted with an Overland RTT and a Fiamma awning with yep, you guessed it, another two brands you don't carry

If you want to operate a legitimate business, I would suggest you act accordingly and not plagiarize from other websites.

If he needs vehicles to model his products, I am sure the club members would be glad to help for a club discount.

That's good news about the exhaust jacks. Has anyone actually tried one of his exhaust jacks on the trail yet? $50 is much but still I've got enough Scotch in my Irish that I 'd like to know if they are any good before buying one.

They went up, it was $50 in February, now I think they are $75, I will have to double check with Gordon though.
