what's the tire rated max pressure?

Your door jamb probably recommended 32psi....for smaller tires with a lower load rating than what you installed....EVERY tire size and brand will have a different load rating, and pressures need to be adjusted to match....and the OEM pressure is always their compromise for load, handling and wear anyways.

35-40 is quite high....I'd guess 28-32 for the max, and front and rear would be different...

I also run my tires higher on the highway for less rolling resistance....but air them down a lot for the trail...

My door jamb says "it's time to be replaced!"

I was wrong about the PSI rating on the tire...you were right...glad I posted here...the door jamb says 32 like what you said and the max PSI on the tire is 35 PSI...that's load range C
The other tires I have on my runner are load range E...got them cheep...I bet they are the ones I was thinking of...

Ok then I'll lower the pressure on the Cruiser tires...I suppose it's time to put "Winter" air in anyway...

so what do you think about the wheels? not a bad price ?? I got them off ebay. the guy has more available let me know if you need his number. he also has the allied monster 1 piece forged which is the one i wanted but the backspacing is 5" which we cant use on our fj40s

Sounds like a good deal...but I wouldn't really know...never had bead locks...would love to have a set though! Thanks for the pics!

here is a pic of the wheel . i paid for it today i just have to specify the size and backspacing so they can ship tommorrow. they are allied forged beadlocks. 275 each

Nice, and they're easy to put together. I have the Allied Monsters and am really happy with them. I got mine from Hi-Impact. Don't forget to factor in S/H and any warranty with your cost. S&H on Ebay is usually ridiculous.

I also have the KM2s, but in 37" and they're pretty darn impressive up here.

I'm going to be ordering a 2nd set of beadlocks, soon. Prolly go with Allieds again, I really like their lock ring.

i paid 1293.75 for 5 wheels shipped to my warehouse in florida.

about 258 per wheel shipped.

hi impact has their wheels priced at about 440.00 per wheel plus shipping

one last question.

In reference to fitment and rubbing issues. The 17x10 or 17x8 will be the same right? assuming i have the same tire on both 35x12.5r17.. I wont have less rubbing with a 17x8 than i would have running a 17x10?

Call for their best pricing.

so if you call they will offer you 40% off the prices listed on their site?? why not just advertise your best price?

This is a big problem in the equipment rental industry right now...I always have to ask a customer who has told me the story of how he sent the rep back to their store to get a better price once the rep was presented with a lower price from the competition..three or four times of doing that and walla..cheep rates...I always ask..why didn't that rep give you his best price when he came out the first time?...makes the customer think..

the 17x10 will push the tire away from the truck more on the outter edge...

:meh: I don't work there. :meh:
