There have been a few guys asking about this so I started the planning stages.
Now that life has returned to a normal pace, I am planning this year beach run!

Who: Anybody with a boat, or 4x4, who has a good attitude!
Where: Provincetown MA, race point
When: AUG 22, 23
Why: there are too many beers, margaritas, burgers, and stripers in this world we need to bring the count down!
Cost: TBA, they havent put out the permit prices yet this year, they will go on sale in Apr, or May.

Looking to get a big showing this year, come by Land, Sea, and Air! Ill add up some links from the previous years with (hopefuly) some pictures that work.

Damn. I think this is the second time you have done this and its fallen on a week where I will be traveling.

I guess i really didn't meet the criteria anyway.

Yeah, that attitude thing is bull****

I cant deal with people who have $hitty attitudes after a few Hurricane rum drinks, that's the only reason why I put that in there, self preservation.

True dat. I'm in but it's a long ways off. Can we camp at your house? Hurricanes in the sun + driving a 40 back to civilization= Jail or worse.

Check out the links, camp ground is less than a 10min ride (on 10psi tires) from the beach. If we end up having a small showing camping will be at my house as I have a big green lawn. (please remind me to turn off the irrigation) But we are almost 25min from the beach, and I would like to see a large showing this year.

What's the access issues to the beach?

There arent any that I have heard of. You buy a sticker and drive on. One time during the year the birds are nesting and its usually right around 4th of july into Aug. That brings the suck. But it will be all over by then, we should have no problems getting on. :D

NE07FJC: just show up, if you have any questions shoot me a line I can probably answer them. This is a very loose relaxed 'run' I like it that way, so I can relax a bit too

What's the sticker run? Just curious if it's a day thing or seasonal? On Chappaquidick, you can only get a seasonal pass.

Cool. Thanks. That explains things more clearly.

Check out the old links, there are some pictures and a TON of more info. I would love to get 12-20 people this year!

Bump! weather is hot, rain is gone and the beach is looking good!
Most of the beach is closed now, because of the birds, but should be wide open by the time of the beach run.
Camping at casa de wild's may be available. Dodge the sprinklers the best you can. :D

Hey Wildman what are the chances we could make space for one of these?

(note not the ferrari)
p.s. thats actually a photo of me and my pops!!! :D

Haha thats an OLD photo and its fairly low res so I could understand how you might not notice that its actually a hansom man leaning against that R 44 :flipoff2:

The ferrari was owned by a flight student of my pop's and that R44 was actually the first 44 that was released to the public, and we got to fly it that day before a single 44 was sold to the public.
