So I woke up to find out I'm out of coffee :(
I hate when that happens.
I brushed my teeth and headed to Caribou Coffee. There was a cool fog hanging so I took a pic or two of Taira just for giggles.

I went and got my mud. I noticed a VooDoo with a lift and a roof light bar coming towards me in oncoming traffic.
It was the Sema Show award winning Beach Patrol Cruiser, modified by Real Wheels right here where I live. Website here http://www.fjcruiseracc.com/
Of course, I turned around in pure stalker fashion and followed him back to Caribou (great minds think alike when it comes to coffee).
I waited outside and then approached him. His name is Jan. One hell of a guy. I asked if he would allow me to take some pics and he was kind enough to say yes.
Here they are.

Sorry about the "little yellow" FJ in the pics. It sure does make me see what a difference a lift makes. Taira looks like a station wagon
The good news about all of this is that I discovered that this brush guard is going into production. I don't know the price, but I intend to find out.
For those of you who think this is too much "bling", you need to see this righ up close. She's a beauty.

interesting
not too much room left for beach chairs and stuff, though, eh?

:grinpimp: word!

Cool looking rig, but not practical at all. I wouldn't buy anything they make, thinking it will stand up to real offroad (other than beach) abuse. That grill guard looks cool, but also looks like a serious damage multiplier.

Also, please tell me these promo shots on their website of their offroad FJC, is not photoshopped:

One looks photochopped, the other looks like it is pic on somebody's lawn.

I'd still love to own that rig, just wouldn't want to pay for it.

Look at the reflection: Parking lot.

Good eye - I've used that trick before to see who the photog was;)

meh....

i dig your black rims, very cool.

the wave is kinda cool, but i have no use for wasted trunk space full of stereo gear.
to much bling on the blue one.

yours is much better. :D
