On Aug. 2 Quadratec a friend texted me a screen shot from Quadratec for Nitto 40" tires on sale. The price was way below their normal so jumped right on it and ordered 5. Of course they hit my CC for the full $1467.84. The next day I got a note that said my order would ship direct from the vendor. After a few more days of hearing nothing I sent a note to the help line asking if they could somehow get me an est. ship date. They said they would. A day or so later they say the vendor will notify them and in turn they will notify me of a ship date. The next day I get a note saying they can't honor the price because the vendor made a mistake. I replied that I didn't deal with the vendor and I was dealing with Quadratec. And it was hard to imagine Quadratek would input prices that hadn't been proofed by mgmt. They continued to blame the mfg. and finally yesterday sent me a note that my problem was solved! They had merely cancelled my order! I asked that my problem be escalated to the next level and got a quick reply from Cheri saying a mistake was made and they have no intention of honoring it., and I would get my refund in the next 4-7 Business Days! Really?? Now, they cancel my order but are going to keep my money for another week just because they can! My friend also ordered the same and got the same treatment, So, I'm done with Quadratec. Just putting the word out there to be careful, and don't give them a credit card until you have a firm ship date.
