Hey guys i have a 2013 land cruiser and i just ordered a set of bbs 20x9 wheels. What do you think is the best tire spec for the wheels? Im planning on getting 285/50/20's nitto 420's. Any imputs? Anyone here have bbs wheels on their lc200 as well? Thanks.

Do you have pics of the wheel? What is the offset?

285-50-20 is the stock size on the LX570 so it will fit just fine. I believe the Nitto 420s are totally street performance oriented so you may not find many people with experience running them. :-)

Heres the pic of the wheel i just ordered. I am from the philippines so the wheels will probably get here in 2 months time. i just want to be sure that i get the correct tires for the wheels. I use the cruiser on the pavements most of the time so i plan to get street tires. They say these wheels have an offset of 50.

Cool. That looks like the BBS wheel that was / is available on the Tundra. +50 offset will fit perfectly.

You didn't mention where you ordered it but you can probably order it from a Toyota dealer. There is another forum user, Arich, who is looking to sell a set of these. Maybe you can get a good deal.

I just ordered it off ebay with the black center caps. Got a really good deal ☺ glad to know they fit fine. Hope they will look good on my black cruiser. Just need to check which tires fit best. I am after ride comfort. Do you think 275/55/20's will be ok for 20x9 wheels? I think the 55's will give me better ride comfort compared to the 50's.. im just thinking 275's might be too narrow for the 20x9's..

You could go with a 275-60R20 which is a 33" tire. 275 will be just fine on a 9" rim.

Ok thanks so much guys. Will definitely look into the bf's as well. Im also glad to know that i have the option to go with 275/55's or 60's as well. I have the bf all terrains on my toyota hilux and they really do last a lifetime. Will just try mounting them first and see which tires to go with from there. Cheers guys!

I have the BFG AT/KO's on my 100 series, they ride great but a little stiff. Everyone is saying the new BFG AT/KO2's are a big improvement over the KO's in ride quality. When my warranty is up on my LX570 and my 285/50/20 MicHelin Latitudes are worn out I am putting on a set of BFG AT/KO2's 275/55/20's on my LX570. If you go with them keep us posted on how you like them.

Offset is 50 mm. On the BBS TEXAS Edition Wheels 275-60-20s will rub slightly on the mudflaps but would look great. I HAVE A BRAND NEW SET this size in Michelin MS2s, PLEASE MAKE ME AN OFFER!!!
If you don't want mine then go with 275-55-20 MS2s. MS2 is an amazing all around tire.
I have 305-50-20 Latitudes on mine and they too rub just a little. Now that I've added the strut spacer I hope they don't rub. 305 is a great looking tire. They are Massive.

Okay will just let you guys know if i go with the ko2's. Thanks for the offer arich but i plan to source my tires here in the philippines so i can try different tires when my wheels arrive. By the way are the bbs wheels lighter than the lx's you have?

If you can find these may want to consider, few months out and already back order! Mine are are hidden away waiting for the 105 forged bead lockers from method racing.., in 285/70/17. With same siZe rubber on my cracked cast Xd's I'll still be 20 pounds lighter in each corner than my crappy 285/65/18 Michelin atx at2 or whatever those meats were that keep tearing slashes in the "E" rated sidewall...and cracking KNC KD Casty crap! Never again buying China 20 year old technology dubs...

The BBSs are not lightweight by any means. They're in storage for the winter. I'll pull them out Sat and weigh.
They have a larger offset so they do poke out a little but in a good way. Not obnoxious.

Ok arich thanks so much. Do you think 275 55's will look too narrow for landcruisers? Im still in a dilemma whether to go with 275 55's or 285 50's..

I want more sidewall

What tire are you thinking.
275-60-20 will fit but you need to take off mudflap or manipulate it

Im thinking of getting nitto 420's or any highway terrain tire since i hardly go offroad. How is the ride on the 50 series tires compared to the stock tires?
