These sit on vehicle's left side (passenger side for a RHD jdm).
The hold down is missing.

Off the top of your head could you install one of the trays on the passenger side of a LHD vehicle to have a dual battery set up or is this a completely different tray or do I need two of one kind?

Should work. If you want to be sure post a pict of the inside fender of said vehicle.
These trays should be near identical to what is in your HZJ77.

That's why I was curious. I have these set aside for my 75 as I took these out when installing triple batteries in my 77.
I figured they would work.

You may need to drill holes and through-bolt or weld captive nuts, but the shape should work.
