Battery tie downs

1986 BJ70 CDM spec

I'm in need of some new battery tie downs, mine are fubared....

Anyone know of any good aftermarket ones that will work with the factory trays?

or even the part numbers for the OEM ones.

Thanks for any help
Eric

Made my replacements using strap steel - 1" wide x 1/8" thick. Tools needed vise, hammer, drill, welder. MUCH stronger and better than originals. Where are you, as I probably still have my originals somewhere in the garage?

Here are possible part number. Took the numbers from DYI website, so no promise on fitment.

You could probably use some off a 60 series or from ENS from a HZJ7*

But I too made mine own from some flat bar and threaded rod.
Not pretty, they were originally made until I get to the shop and buy some more, but 2 years later they are on their 2nd battery and still holding them in place.

74404‑90K01 RH Bracket (1)
74405‑90K01 LH Bracket (1)
74407‑90K00 Tiedown Brackets (2)
90179‑06097 Bracket Bolts (2)
90119‑06098 Firewall Screws (2)

Bounce these off of CDan or Beno, they have "connections" for some non-usa parts. Check with ENS Toyota/Lexus or Radd, they may have access to stuff that US dealerships don't.
