I need to clean up my battery connections for my added accessories. I'm still running a single group 27 sized battery which is fine for my current needs. I'm looking at Slee's billet terminals and they have a short one for group 27 sized batteries but the positive terminal cover they offer appears to only be for the larger, group 31 billet terminals. The only accessories I'm connecting are ham radio power, which, ARB twin compressor, and 2 amp NOCO trickle charger.

Anyone installed these and if so, how did you protect the positive terminal? I have had the experience of dropping a wrench between battery terminals and I didn't like it.

I can't answer your question, but perhaps a different clean up step...

HAM radio, I just installed one, and there's a nice constant power source in the cabin which could allow you to remove the tap at the battery terminal. Above the passenger footwell has a fuse box with open spots. An add-a-circuit fuse tap can make a clean install.

And I agree it's a good thing to have covers in terminals.
