Anyone have any recommendations for one of the battery boost/jump start devices? My standard transmission Tacoma will start easily by rolling off a slight incline, but I do not always think to park in such a place. I can't recall ever having a dead battery out in the hills, but having the backup seems prudent.... I do not need the accessory compressor or light that comes on some models. Prices seem to range from inexpensive to exorbitant!

I have a Jump & Carry 660 and really like it. It is really slim and holds a charge forever. I've used it to start some stone dead vehicles and it works great. I also spoke to a tow truck driver that had the same JNC 660 and his experience with it was the same as mine.

I bought it through Amazon and it was around $120, well worth it if you're in BFE and have a dead battery.
