Baskets anyone?

Threw this combo together recently but wondering if anyone else has baskets? Still don’t know how if going to secure it yet. It’s just sitting there temporarily...

I have an old style Yakima basketcase that I like because it fits a couple pelican 1600 cases perfectly for tools and recovery stuff

I’ve always liked the look of baskets, but I could never think of anything I could put in it that I couldn’t fit in the 6 foot bed directly behind it.

Nice to have when you want to sleep in the bed, especially for tools and stuff that’s heavy to be moving in and out every night.

Looks decent, but there's just not much use for them, at least in my case. I almost never need more capacity than the bed of my Tacoma. I also hate the extra wind noise they make.

Just bought a 4runner with a basket up top. Not sure of the brand and it's a little rough in condition. As I go through my 4runner I will address it. I dislike that the previous owner has bolted it directly to the hard top.
