Not my vehicle, checked it out today had a little too much surface rust on the undercarriage for me but definitely not terrible, didn't see any holes in the frame. I already have a rusty 01 didn't feel like messing with another rusty LX. Has had timing belt and water pump done at 155k, stamp to prove it. Interior is somewhat dirty but could be cleaned. Guy is pretty firm at 5K

Do you think it was, in your opinion, worth saving or truly a parts vehicle like the ad states? I don't mind mechanical stuff but the frame crusties really spook me.

Oh yeah I think it could be saved. It's got your normal Northeast rust so if you aren't used to that it might seem bad. There weren't any holes in the rear frame that I noticed. The passenger side fender is pretty bashed up and will need replaced, ahc is in low but no idea why I stopped looking once I saw the rusty undercarriage

Thanks for getting back with me, the seller is out of town and supposed to shoot some pics over of the frame when they get back. If it's not too crusty I'll probably snag it!
