From owning one and also looking at all the pictures a 200 needs a lift plus 34-35" tires to look "balanced". The 100 looks balanced with a 2" lift and 33-34" tires. I'm defining balanced as proportional. Thoughts?

I agree with you. 35" tires and a suspension system with height gains of 2.5 - 3"+ make the vehicle look proportionally correct.

I agree with that...

Yup

On the topic of balancing, if my math is correct, ~34.5 inch tires would let one run a 4.30 ratio ring and pinion to get back to the effective gear ratios of a stock 200 series.

Skip the BS, and go with the 35s! :)

As the very smart second poster said

I love the artic trucks, couple of steps beyond balance in a good way. What would it cost to build a artic truck for a American owned? Would it be legal?

My impression is that Arctic Trucks are mainly built for floating over thick, soft snow...and would NOT do well when it comes to articulation.

Well, maybe the ones with the 44 inch tires, but their models with fender flares and 35's would be nice. As to the price, I would expect it to be quite expensive. There is an Aussie member here with the set-up. I think the fender flares can be ordered from fallujahsport. If I remember, they were nearly $3k alone.

Now, if you were going have THEM build you one, my assumption would be that you would have to have an American titled cruiser shipped to their offices, and then shipped back to the US. I would imagine it would be well into the 5-figure prices by the time it was all said and done.
