SILVER Star
man, we're finally getting to baja. i took a new position with an agency here in SF and grabbed a week between jobs to take a trip...
i'm dragging the fiancee along for some fun & sun on the Cortez side between San Felipe, Puertecitos and Bahia San Luis Gonzaga. web may make it south to BoLA, but that'll depend on how much we like the other places :] it's her first time in this part of mexico, so the idea is to make it fun so she'll want to go back again in the future. heheh.
i'm psyched. this is basically the entire reason i bought the FJ60 in the first place - to car trip and enjoy off the beaten path places while being self sufficient.
so, if anyone is going to be down and around those parts, feel free to stop by, say hi and eat some fish tacos or have a beer. the one thing i don't have is a CB or radio, so you'll just have to look for a big ole while FJ60 sitting on the beach @ Campo Beluga. we'll be spending a few days there and then moving on as we feel like it.
oh yeah, i decided to pull the trigger on some new 33" BFG TA/KOs for the trip. my MTRs are all worn wonky and am going to feel better with good tires and a matching spare.
ah.... the clock watching begins till take off. full trip report and pictures to be shared upon our return.
