Attended the Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride last week and had a blast. Unfortunately I also got sucked into an off camber mud hole and snagged a tree with the hi-lift. Ended up ripping it apart and with the lift and had to rely on another to pull it to the side to proceed out of the hole. No knock on the Bowfin ( @dogfishlake ) rack, the 4” tree completely stopped the vehicle so there was substantial force. It bent both sides and shifted it back 2 inches. Hopefully some wrench and hammer time will bring it back, and a skid guard for the lift is planned.
Meanwhile, I left the other at home and someone borrowed it. It did not fit in the garage. The old KC 69’s appear to be the only casualty. I guess I was due for an upgrade since I put them on 18 years ago.
