I recently developed an odd vibration that only happens at high speeds 70+ when a road is uneven or when hitting a bump. The steering wheel will shake really bad for like 5-10 seconds and once the road is smooth again it’ll simmer down. On a smooth road it’s perfectly fine, so I know it’s not a balance issue. It’s a 2013 LX with 90k. AHC fluid is nice and fresh, no blown shocks/struts car rides smooth. I took a look at the LCA bushings and the front most bushing is cracked. Is this a common failure point?

Not at 90k. And those bushings are so large that even with a crack on the outside the inside may still have some solid attachment. You’d need to use a pry bar to manipulate the bushing end of the arm around, forward/backward, side to side, to see just how bad that crack is. But yes lower control arms need to be replaced before long.

I’d also be verifying every bolt on the front and rear suspension is tight, to include the steering rack and panhard bar on the rear axle.

Update, replaced the lower control arms. Upon taking them off they looked perfect. There was no play in the bushings and everything felt tight but it somehow fixed my vibration.
