last week I had been travelling at highway speeds for a couple of hundred miles in my 97 FZJ80. At my exit I fueled up, about 20 gallons and hit the road again at speeds around 55MPH. Around 5 miles after fueling up my check engine light came on and the engine started running really rough. To make a long story short, it is showing a P0300 and P0301. I have replaced the plugs, cap and rotor and am waiting on factory wires as well. The old parts looked fine other than some build-up on the plugs, NGK Platnum. Those were replaced with proper Nipondensos. Could water in the gas, I was in New York, cause mulitple misfires? I tried dry gas and no change. What else could cause these misfires? It seems to run better around 3000 RPM. My next stop is the dealer. It has run perfect the last 10 months I have owned it until that tank of gas.
