WOW! Now there's a man after my own heart! Of course, my heart would be plugged full of cement if I ate one ( hmm, maybe I could down two cause I do luv bacon)> Is Dr Jarvik in the house? Probably only about 100 calories, right? Maybe 100 squared? Also, that much bacon fat will most likely cause another problem in a few hours, so don't stray out in public too far. I suppose this will be the trademark for our new super hero-BACON MAN!!!! John

I WILL be trying this. I might look for some low-sodium bacon, but I ain't eatin Oscar Meyer- I've got standards. Costco has some great honey-cured stuff we enjoy. Sounds feakin' awesome to me- you can never get a good taste of the bacon with all that hamburger in the way on a standard bacon burger. This should do the trick.
I'm thinking a quarter pound might possibly suffice though.

That does look good, let us know how it turns out. An egg on top and you have a good breakfast also.

Howdy! Funny you should mention that egg. I grew up on the farm in Illinois, and we often had "breakfast sandwiches". My mom would slather two pieces of toast with Mayo (or Miracle Whip) and then stick a slice of cheese onto each one. Then add a fried egg (I prefer two-overhard). Last, pile on all the bacon you can get away with, usually 6 to 8 pieces cut in half. Thanks to Ronald and the Golden Arches, we decided to name it "The Egg McBricker"!My wife still makes them for me a couple of times each year. John

I have those every morning, with ham or pastrami instead of bacon. I've learned a way of 'grilling' them in the toaster oven. Good stuff.

WOW

It never ceases to amaze me the time people have... sheesh. Ever heard of the guy in New Zealand who built the jet-power beer cooler? He is also working on a full ASCII animated (yes... ) version of Star Wars.

His website is here... STAR WARS ASCIIMATION - Main Page

EDIT: He also builds his own jet engines. Y A W N.
