I had purchased a back up cam and wasn't sure the location to install. I really didn't want to drill any holes so this is what I did.

I pulled out the tail gate lock tumbler. Sand down a few thou around the dia of the hole to allow the install of my cam.

Popped it in and wire it up and works great.

I didn't see any need for to keep the lock tumbler since I use the remote for access.

Now there's a man with the best set of tools on MUD! At least that's what I hear is a requirement for Disco owners... ;-)

I had to mount mine very low due to the spare on the swing arm. A little weak on the perspective, but overall it works nice. It's mounted directly above the hitch on the long arm.

Gotta have the Toyota to pull the Disco around when it breaks:p

Love the Disco for its compact size on the trails, but the reliability is questionable at best. I've completely rebuilt the engine on the Disco and still don't have a great feeling to take it on long trips even though mechanically its a gem.

The Toyota replaced another Disco and its the best decision I've made in a long time!!!
