Picked up this extremely well maintained 99 last week. More info later.

Picture today after losing the running boards. Couldnt stand them any more.

Looks great. I like the white out on the tires. Looks good on dark color truck.

How are the cooper h/t's? Been wondering about those since they are affordable.

What about pathfinder tires It is A/T rated but good thread fr highway too? Discount tires have those for a great price. I got a quote for two 265 75 16 10 ply installed/mount and balanced $325 out the door.

Nice cruiser @tshandonay! Yeah I finally removed mine and fitted my front mudflaps, so much happier with how it looks.

@afa, the H/T's that I used to have mounted to my 16s were decent, but show them any kind of snow and they were useless. They actually got me stuck on the side of the road in two inches of slush/snow when a surprise storm hit us many winters ago. Other than that, they're a decent all-season tire with which I had no other complaints about.

That's not good news on the tires. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan....long winters and lots of snow.

I ran snow tires year around in my last 80 series because it was mostly parked in the warm months. I was hoping to avoid replacing these Coopers because there is 80% tread on them.

Beyond that, I've been doing to small things to the 100. Raised the spare tire up, lost the running boards, mounted my ham radio gear, manual switch for DRL's, pulled the back seats, yanked out all the old cell phone he crap and wiring the previous owner had.

New bilsteins should arrive today. The rear no brand shocks are done. Was dancing sideways on some mild washboard a couple days ago.

Need to track down a rotational squeak from the brakes. It's driving me mad. Thought was the pad wear indicator from the rear but they have lots life left. Maybe slightly warped rotor?

Well after considering the coopers I just went ahead and bought the KO2's. I figured they're better in every way and worth the investment.

I have the same squeak, I think. squeaks with the rotation of the wheels when it's cold and just heading from the house. goes from about 20 to 35 mph then goes away when everything gets warmed up. I hate driving around my tank when it sounds like it's killing a belt. reply back when you find something out.

Mine is all the time....any speed or temperature. Just the already slightest touch of the brake and it goes away so I am sure it's brake related. Need to isolate which wheel.

Mine is the exact same thing where it goes away with the littlest amount of brake input.

I won't be working on much for awhile. I was pushing the limits after a mountain biking accident a few weeks ago. Heard a rib crack when I lifted something yesterday. Pain was off the charts....had to go to the ER. So much for getting the new shocks on today and isolating the squeak.

On a positive note....363 miles out of the first tank of gas. Had 2 gals left.

Ultimately found a rock stuck in the dust shield behind the drivers side rear brakes. So happy to have that noise gone. Was driving me insane.
