after a brief hiatus,,i am back it on the 45,,,
fired up the shop heater and primed the front clip...
went pretty good for a turd,,,

did i say it is coollllddddd out there???

so,,,should i polyurea the frame???cause i can???
high pressure spray applied plural component 100% solids type of polyurea,,,yes i probably would use a 2 component primer as well,,

while i am trying to maintain originality on this rig,,it has never been my intention to restore to "factory",,,i want to run this rig,,,
so a few deviations from factory are of no significance to me... i want to be able to get it down and dirty...

or am i missing something in my thought process,,,should i just rust bullet the frame with i nice topcoat of paint??? or some other consideration????

hope all is well and you are all keeping your pipes thawed....

shop heater?? cold? I'm in the middle of a head job on the wife's Disco in my unheated garage... that's frickin' cold!

still looking forward to meeting you and seeing the project some time... we'll have to make it happen one of these days

Just happened to talk to Tim Hagarty in Colfax yesterday about stopping out there for a little part swapping and to check out his somewhat recently acquired 45 project. Hell, between you, me, Tim, and Matt over in the Quads, Iowa's getting to be a damn 45 hotspot.

later
