Can anyone with a manual post some pictures on the location and installation of this. Just as I got out for lunch today I noticed that my vehicle was throwing the airbag light error.

Checked with techstream and it is a B1100 code. I want to first inspect, and then replace if needed.

Thanks in advance!!!

I hit a bump in the road and I am now having the same code, did you ever figure this out?

My friend who owns a Goodyear fixed it for me.
He initially thought it would be a loose wire on my SRS Control Module.
Unfortunately, when his techs dug it out it had visible coffee/water damage and no loose wires.
They replaced my 2004 module with an updated SRSCM MCG TOY 888606 and had it up and running in a day.

Side note: I was driving the highlander while my Hundy was in the shop, just as I thought I was enjoying the highlander I got back in the Hundy and immediately realized how much of a great ride the Hundy is.

So why do they put this darn SRS control module under the drink holder!!!! :bang:

Hey @Nishiki, I know it's been a while, but were you able to resolve your B1100 DTC? Im still troubleshooting mine.

@drwapenshaw, would you know if that part (SRSCM MCG TOY 888606) is compatible with an '04 GX470? When I bought the vehicle (used), I noticed coffee spills in the cup holder and around the center console which is leading me to believe I may need to replace my SRS CM. :(

Thanks,
AJ

Sorry, no I do not know the answer to that.

Since is the only topic on this dtc, I checked last night with no luck.
After digging on the net and replaced the SRS unit, same error remains and the warning light on the dash, car is an 120 Prado d4d.
Sourced the problem on the wiring of one of the front mounted airbag sensors, cable was in time broken small crash I presume, and patched the wrong way - then I reversed the two wires between and clear error with techstream.
