I am selling a B Diesel engine out of a 1980 bj40, asking $400.00. It needs to be rebuilt, bad compression. Mostly all there, would need an alternator, vacum pump, starter, manifold, fuel return line, I am sure I missed something. The water pump is fairly new, the thermostate housing and valve cover are both powdercoated. I may consider parting it out if I can not sell it as a whole. If your interested in parts let me know what you want and I will hold it for you if it does not sell as a whole. I will try to get some pictures up soon. The engine is located in Northern New Mexico.

So I have had a few people interested in the engine but shipping has been the deal killer. Just to help save some time for myself and anyone interested the best shipping rate I have received for this engine is to NY at $419.20 to a residential address. Depending on where you are shipping is likely to be around $400.00 give or take, maybee less if it goes to a business. I would like to move this I will drop the price to $300.00 to help off set the shipping. If you can find a better quote great. let me know. Pick up is always welcome. I am willing to help arrange the shipping just know it is not cheap to begin with.

I have tried to price things cheap or resonable to sell quickly, for anyone that has the space it never hurts to have spare parts around.

Some of these parts may work on a 3B, do your research, I will do my best to help.

Valve cover powder coated (Silver) great finish, $50.00 (cost me more to have it powder coated)
Themostat housing powder coated (silver top, black bottom) $45.00 top can be flipped to fit rad hose on
each side.
Water pump has about 8,000 miles on it at most purchased new. $30.00
Water pump pulley powder coated $15.00
Head, not sure of it's condition (besides the engine description above) what or if it needs anything.
